Specialist transport movement
Vision was called upon to provide specialist transport and placement to point of use. The air conditioning condensing unit which weighed 3 tons and measured over 4 metres long and 2 metres wide was successfully delivered by one of our specialist hi ab equiped trucks and operator. 2011 Christmas Hampers
Christmas is nearly upon us and Vision's fleet of freezer vans has been busy ensuring that thousands of customers have their Christmas goodies delivered in time and in perfect condition ready for the festive season.

At Vision we have our own Grinch - Nick, the Fareham Depot manager - Christmas is very busy time for Nick, he organises the delivery of thousands of Christmas hampers using Vision's fleet of temperature controlled freezer delivery vehicles. Our aim is to get Nick looking forward to Christmas, we shall be capturing his mood on a daily basis and if we're not successful we shall donate £100 to our favourite charity - it's not looking good so far - but then nor does he!

Nick Hulme Vision's depot manager at Fareham, who looks after the warehouse and staff connected with the company's healthcare logistics and promotional logistics, has had his first placing in the bike racing class he entered, he managed a very respectable 7th place - not bad for a 50+ year old - who says Vision can't move quickly!
Sally gives up smoking
Vision's staff member Sally has not smoked for over five weeks now, Sally looks after our experiential marketing customers organising the promotional logistics for their field marketing, experiential and product launches. Sally reckons she has saved over £230 so far, her and her daughter are enjoying spending the extra cash!

Cleaning up our act and doing our bit for the environment
During the last few months Vision logistics has started to look at ways of being more environmentally friendly. The company has started to recycle its cardboard and shrink-wrap in our warehouse with recycling collections being collected fortnightly. Another way we are becoming more environmentally friendly is within our office environment, we now have bins that are used for paper only; reusing folders and one of the main changes within the office is that it is going more towards being paperless. For example more invoices are now sent via email…
