As manager of a successful marketing company it was my duty to arrange the transport and storage of products for an upcoming experiential marketing project involving a range of frozen meals made by Lynda McCartney, the target we had been set was a variety of summer festivals ranging from the V-Festival and Glastonbury to the Bristol Balloon Festival.
As there was no where near enough freezing and refrigeration facilities locally to these sites we called upon Vision Logistics to aid us in both the chilled and frozen off site and on site storage and distribution.
Visions chilled delivery vehicles and delivery crew stayed on site at all times, ensuring that the meals were kept at the right temperature throughout their stay at each venue, their staff kept a continuous supply of correctly chilled product to our promotional staff at all times, allowing them to do their job well.
I was thoroughly pleased with Visions commitment to our project, I worked closely throughout the project with their marketing manager who truly went above and beyond in helping my company, on one occasion during the operation my promotional staff had ran out of fresh buns as our suppliers had failed to deliver and the whole marketing project was in jeopardy, thankfully Vision stepped in, and using one of their contacts a delivery of freshly baked buns was at the venue within no time at all, allowing our target consumers to enjoy their meals at their best.
