An outstanding 6 piece covers band, recently reformed especially for the Vision party.

DJANGO ska & regaae band

Django formed at the back end of 2006. All of the band have "done time" with some of the best known unsigned ska bands on the scene. These include 2 Tonic, Urban Rhythm, Orange Street, The Loonee Toons plus a few others over the years. Steve, Chris, Vijay and Rich were also part of Bad Manners for a while, and Rich and Liam often play with the Neville Staples band.

The Brits

Local indie rock band.

Dress: What your Grand parents would have worn during the war or uniforms.

Venue: The Maritime Home Club, Portsmouth

Donation on entry: £10.00 per ticket(every penny goes to charity)

Planning on dressing up? Visit Sabre Sales in Southsea, they are kindly supporting us with many of the props for the party, they are the best place for military outfit hire and at the best rates. When visiting make sure you say the code name 'HALLELULIAH' this will help us keep track of the numbers.

The next party will be World War II - featuring Sounds Familiar, a well known 6 piece band, django, a hugely entertaining ska band and local lads aptly named The Blitz. Fully licensed bar,unrationed food, and of course fabulous company - you!

As before, all proceeds are going to charity - Hope & Homes for Children and The Rainbow Centre who help children with motor impairment learn to overcome their difficulties using a system of learning called Conductive Education. Motor impairment means difficulty with movements controlled by the central nervous system and the most common cause of this is cerebral palsy.
